Rules of the Africathon

Registration for the hackathon is open to teams of no more than 3 people.

Teams wishing to register for the hackathon must complete the online registration form by entering their data and that of each team member.

Each participant member of the team must agree to the rules of the event and give their consent to the processing of their personal information and the use of their videos and images by Africathon.

All participants must ensure that the personal information provided during the online registration is true and accurate, and must unconditionally accept all decisions made by the Hackathon organizers regarding the conduct of the event.

Each team must choose a name for their project. Project names must not be linked to any company or brand names.

Members of each team agree not to submit projects that have already been submitted to other initiatives or competitions.

Participants in the hackathon hereby acknowledge that participation in the event is free of charge and does not entail any right to compensation for expenses incurred.
