TAGDev2.0 is part of a continental ambition to transform agricultural higher education into a true catalyst for sustainable development in Africa. Its mission is to train, support, and empower African youth by fostering innovative, inclusive solutions with strong socio-economic impact.
By placing agriculture, science, and entrepreneurship at the center of its vision, TAGDev2.0 seeks to mobilize young people—particularly women and vulnerable groups—around critical issues such as food security, employment, and territorial resilience.
In this context, supporting entrepreneurship through targeted programs, such as the dedicated initiative for startups in the olive value chain, is one of the program’s key implementation levers. These initiatives aim to nurture the emergence of youth-led projects capable of delivering sustainable responses to the challenges facing the agricultural sector.
THIS CALL IS OPEN TO Moroccan and African startups developing projects across the different segments of the olive value chain:
Sustainable production and agriculture.
Agri-food processing.
By-product valorization.
Packaging, traceability, and distribution.
Technological solutions, artificial intelligence, or clean energy applied to the olive sector.
The objective is to support projects with strong economic, social, and environmental impact, aligned with national and regional priorities in the agricultural sector.
