U-Founders Program Regulations
Beneficiary: A legal entity (the startup) selected through the application process for this call for applications.
Participant(s): A natural person (the founder(s) of the selected startup) who will take part in the incubation process. Each beneficiary may be represented by up to two participants.
Incubator: "U-Founders" Incubator, a business support structure affiliated with Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and the organizer of this call for applications.
Coordinator: The U-Founders Program Manager, responsible for coordinating all activities within the incubation program.
Incubation Contract: A legal document signed by participants before starting the incubation. This contract defines the legal framework of the incubation journey within the U-Founders program.
The call for applications is open to technology startups based in Morocco that have at least a prototype or MVP.
To be considered for selection, applicants must submit their application before April 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
To apply, candidates must create a user account on the call for applications page and provide all required information.
Participation in the U-Founders incubation program is entirely free, with no purchase obligations. However, expenses such as travel costs to UM6P and any startup development-related costs are the responsibility of the participating entrepreneur.
By submitting an application, participants confirm the accuracy of the information provided and authorize the organizer to contact them using the submitted contact details.
The U-Founders Program is built around five (5) core principles, which the Beneficiary agrees to uphold throughout their participation:
Experimentation: Maintain an open mind, curiosity, and a willingness to iterate.
Execution: Implement all necessary actions to advance the project according to high standards and guidance received during incubation.
Transparency: Commit to honesty, responsibility, and transparency with all stakeholders.
Commitment: Participate in all activities organized by UM6P as part of the incubation program.
Respect: Engage respectfully with all stakeholders involved in the program.
Failure to adhere to these principles may result in sanctions, at the discretion of UM6P, including:
Exclusion from the U-Founders Program.
Loss of some or all benefits outlined in the Incubation Contract, including workspace access.
Immediate termination of the Incubation Contract.
The Beneficiary agrees to be transparent and accountable to the Incubator, the Coordinator, mentors, and all stakeholders within the Program.
The Beneficiary commits to:
Providing accurate and truthful information and documents.
Informing the Incubator of any significant events or updates regarding the project.
Allowing the Incubator to conduct necessary verifications on all submitted information.
Responding promptly to any progress inquiries from the Incubator.
Each party guarantees compliance with legal and regulatory obligations related to personal data protection as per Moroccan Law No. 09-08, enacted on February 18, 2009.
Personal data collected by the Incubator is processed solely to facilitate the execution of the call for applications and its related procedures.
In accordance with Law 09-08, the Beneficiary has the right to access and rectify their personal data by contacting u-founders@um6p.ma.
